There's more than one reason Flavor Restaurant has been in business for almost 12 years. The concept is unique and touches every aspect of an enjoyable dining experience: The food is great and "flavor-ful", the service is considered by many to be a cut above the rest, and the award winning jazz is a treat not common to the south suburbs.
Visit on jazz night. It starts off slow, but by 7:30, the restaurant transforms into a jazz supper club comparable to anything you would visit on the North Side of Chicago or in New York City.
One bit of advice-- order the made from scratch appetizers, wrap half your entree and save room for the delicious desserts!!!
Flavor serves the best breakfast in Chicago six days a week! Try our creamy grits, sweet potato pancakes, or salmon croquettes, and you're hooked!! If you love real potatoes laced with grilled onions, or smothered shrimp, grits n'gravy, this is the place.
